CITYGREEN Issue 08

This latest edition features Green City branding, award winning landscaping, parks for children, as well as greenery for public and commercial establishments in Singapore and abroad. To demonstrate the different forms that urban horticulture can take, CITYGREEN, highlights a number of exceptional project features, from Singapore’s Changi Airport green wall to the most recent state-of-the-art Far East Organization Children’s Garden at Gardens by the Bay. In the commentaries, Dave Kendal and Mark J. McDonnell discuss the role that urban landscapes play in the adaptation of cities. And Natalie Marie Gulsrud reports on the various positions cities have adopted on their green branding, recognizing that level and quality of “greenness” is increasingly being incorporated.
